It critically examines the policies, best practices, partnerships, and frameworks that shape human research protection and research compliance programs. By addressing both foundational principles and emerging challenges such as AI-driven protocols, decentralized clinical trials, digital data systems, and structural innovations like single IRBs and reliance agreements, the book aims to advance current scholarship and provide practical guidance.
